My name is Louise Smith and I live in Hampshire, England. I have been producing art for the last fifteen years or so, starting with pencil sketches and soon progressing to watercolours which I stuck with for quite sometime.

I still found that I couldn't get the photographic feel to my paintings that I was striving for so I tried oil paints. I soon started producing some really great landscapes that seemed to capture that feeling you get when you see a fabulous sunset or a beautiful sky.

I have been lucky enough to display my art work in two different settings; once at my place of work and the second, more recently, at my local dentist surgery. It is nice to display my work for the public as you tend to get a more truthful critique; family and friends can be quite biased when pressed for an opinion!

By creating this website I hope that people will be able to enjoy looking at my artwork as much as I enjoy producing it. If someone wishes to purchase a painting and display it in their own home, then all the better!
